The first service to be available was a search site (it was a bit premature to call it a search engine) for companies to list their contact and product range. The most important area was released in 2002. FertAid has developed a complex site for the management of internal quality control and external quality assurance systems for andrology and embryology. These pages fall under the title of QAP-online. More recently, online survey and online continuing education schemes are under development. Online training manuals are on the drawing boards and should be available next year. It may be apparent that these areas are part of the infrastructural support and infomation that clincal systems should or may need to provide high quality IVF treatment. In many countries, such systems are required by law, but regardless, should be used by clinics world wide.
