The concept of performing measurements online was developed initially for estimating follicle diameters under the Ultrasound group of QA series/schemes. The concept is that each image contains a unit space bar equivalent to 1 cm. Using the screen coordinates of the mouse arrow, the distance between 2 sets of coordinates is added to a table and the distance between the two points calculated. This is converted to a distance in cm using the standard estimate for comparison. The answer is computed automatically and up to 4 estimates of the one measure can be made. When the browser is happy with the value, the answer may then be submitted to the QA scheme. The browser may then review their performance. |
