This embryo viewed early on day 3 has already progessed beyound the 8 cell stage and has significant degree of compaction. The blastomeres are still visible [probably more than 10 in number] but are unable to be effectively counted. Considerable cell adhesion has occurred. This embryo would be ranked very high for a day 3 transfer. |
