Within each QAP series, QAP schemes are the central component of the data structure. Each QAP scheme operates for a calender year. While a participant needs to enroll in each scheme each year. Since they are a member of a QAP series, each scheme is a separate entity. However, it is possible to link schemes together to review ones performance over the life of one subscriptions. Each subscriber may enroll as either a student, an associate (skilled in an assocaited area) or as a professional. A professional is one who is actively working in the area of the scheme and that participantion in a QAP scheme is designed to provide an Internal Assessment of competency and performance. |
