Two clear pronuclei with well defined nucleoli along the junction of the pronuclei. The nucleoli are out of phase with the nucleoli in the upper pronulceus are clustered around the junction (this may be the male pronucleus) while the nucleoli in the lower pronucleus are scattered. The two polar bodies are separate and there is an enlarged perivitelline space. This is a pattern 1 by Tesarik and Greco (1999) |
