This good quality embryo has even blastomeres, no fragmentation and a thin zona pellucida but is delayed in development with the 4th blastomers from the second clevage yet to divide. If checked 1-2 hours later, this embryo may be a high quality 8 cell embryo. It depends on the time from insemination to assessment. Embryos such as this have been reported to produce high rates of blastocysts. |
