Data Comparison
A key feature is the capacity to review your staffs performance against a wide range of alternative options. This does not detract from the standard EQA base of ALL PROFESSIONAL but may provide you with other preferred groups to benchmark your clinic against.
Internal Comparison
The most logical comparison is between your own staff. This what QAPonline defines as an INTERNAL QUALITY CONTROL process. In reality, in many EQA programme`s where a sample is sent to the clinic to analyse, the laboratory supervisor, ask some (all?) the staff to complete the assessment and the mean of their values is posted to the EQA office. Therefore QAPonline is effectively achieving the same end but does not require the laboratory manager to organise this.
